Welcome to Victory Church!

The first thing you will notice as you approach our campus is the lack of a standard parking lot. Not to worry, we will do everything we can to make your experience at Victory Church a positive one. So, what we have done is reserved our parking in the alley behind our building for our guests.

As you enter the building there will be a greeter to welcome you, offer you a Worship Guide and to direct you to our Sanctuary or to the Nursery or Children's Ministry areas prepared for your children ages 0-12. Ushers are also available should you need assistance with seating, directions or to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to sit anywhere but we encourage you to sit closer to the front of the sanctuary. Our personal experience tells us that your experience will be better the closer you are to the action.

We start our Sunday worship experience with engaging, contemporary and worshipful music. This sets the stage for a connection with God in an atmosphere of celebration. The Bible declares, “God inhabits the praises of His people.” We love to sing, clap, cheer and yes, you may even see some celebrating. During times of worship it is not uncommon to see people lifting their hands in surrender to and in honor of God. These expressions are clearly recommended to us in the Bible.

After our time of praise, we take the opportunity to bring the challenges and circumstances of the people to God in prayer. We believe that God hears us and answers us when we pray. We invite you to join us during this time by communicating your own prayer to God. After all, God wants to hear from you, as well.

It is now time to greet one another and welcome everyone to God’s House. Giving a “High five” is our customary greeting! The church is a family and some of us haven’t seen other members of our family for a week. (That is if they come to church every week!) Don’t worry, even if you’re a guest, you are among friends at Victory Church and we want you to feel right away like you are a part of our family! We truly do love it when you’re here!

We continue our worship by giving God’s people the opportunity to give tithes and offerings to God. This is God’s plan for advancing the work of His kingdom and church around the world. Our giving does much more than just keep the lights on. It helps to feed the poor, meets the needs of the hurting and enables us to preach the Good News about Jesus in many ways across our world. And just so you can relax, we never force or coerce our guests to give! Whew!

Using the gift of multimedia we now take a moment to let the church body know about all our upcoming events. We invite you to sit back and enjoy an often comical way of keeping our body informed about all that’s going on at Victory Church!

It is now time to listen to a practical message prepared by our Lead Pastor, an Elder or a special guest. Our goal is to help you learn timeless principles from God’s Word, the Bible, that will cause you to experience the life God has planned for you. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it to the full.”  Inside your Worship Guide is a place for you to take notes. This is another powerful way to help you remember what you hear and allows you to put it into practice the principles learned. Remember, only as we apply these principles do they have the power to change our lives.

Speaking of application, that is the last and final part of our service. We always like to close our discussion with the question, "What is God speaking to me through this message and how can I apply it to my life?" If you will listen, we believe God will show you too! It is awesome to hear from God!

We thrive to make every service as motivating and positive as possible. We feel that if you will come back week after week God will start to do amazing things in your life. We believe that He will move mountains and build bridges that you did not ever think were possible.

Can't wait to see you this Sunday!
